The year 2004 meant a milestone in Slovakian history. Accession of Slovakia to the European Union naturally prepared existing market for the entry of big investors. The year 2004 meant a milestone also in Kia’s history. We have started the construction of our first ever European plant in Slovakia. Kia has become the fastest growing automaker in the world. We want to continue in this trend and our vision is to become one of the world's premier automotive brands. With our new plant in Zilina we will be able to increase our market share not only in Europe but also worldwide.

We believe that there is no challenge or ambition too high for a big team we call Kia Motors, neither for Kia Motors Slovakia as a true member of the Kia family. We are committed, more than ever, to make outstanding results and achieving our high goals.
